Ubisoft Reveals Ghost Recon Breakpoint

To be fair that was a decent game, just appalling coding on the graphics side. I bet if you played it now it would be OK but yeah that was pretty bad at launch.
Arkham Knight is an amazing game now. I did play it. In fact I played through it several times and I enjoyed it more than all the previous titles. And it only cost me around $10 for the whole package with all the DLC.

Nothing wrong with pre-ordering.

Might be because I'm American but if I buy a gun I have to wait 10 days to get it. Technically still a pre order.

Sometimes when buying a car, you "pre-order" it as it gets delivered to your dealer

Just used to it. Never understood why people are so adamant against it. It's not like you won't get a refund either.

I agree that there's nothing inherently wrong with pre-ordering.
However, pre-ordering is when you order something that doesn't exist on the market yet. Of course when you order a gun or a car you have to wait for delivery. That's what ordering something means. But the product exists.

Not to pick on anyone here, but this gave me a bit of a giggle to be honest ^_^

Thats no different to putting a deposit on apartments that are still being built. Its a risky investment. Can use Anthem as a disastrous example of a game investment gone horribly wrong.

Ubisoft in the past created terrible launch products. They have improved greatly, so much so I see them as a somewhat respectable publisher.
They went from a horrid AC Unity with scary looking bugs, to some pretty well polished launches (division 2). They now have a track record of outstanding AAA titles.

Arkham Knight

I don't care if people pre-order. But I personally don't think it's worth it. Games these days are discounted after just a few weeks + they're patched + I avoid another Arkham Knight situation.

This is why I will never pre order. Not only does waiting remove the potential launch issues. But games discount fast. Tombraid SoTTR went down to 50% 3 weeks after it was launched.

Or the case of Fallout 76 free when you bought a 2nd hand controller

Pre-ordered, As it's following in the footsteps of Wildlands it's a must buy for me, Absolutely loved that game.

Same but I didn't pre-order out of basic principle, but I'll get this for sure! This is my favourite type of shooter and the devs execute it perfectly.

If I order a gun I get arrested :D

There's some gameplay on youtube if you are curious. Looks really good. I liked the movement, it seemed weighty and more realistic than the perfect running style seen in most games. I especially liked the injured states. Makes sense, you're supposed to be human.

I like all of these aspects and don't mind losing the team mates either. I am worried that now it's also a full blown game as a live service. I'll be following this one closely and with much enthusiasm!

I'm missing a good shooter with real world weapons right now (quit the division 2, am playing rage 2 but find it mediocre yet okay).

Don't try to make sense of Rage 2. Ignore the story and bad vehicle mechanics and just enjoy the slaughtering, and minor exploration. :D It's a pretty engine to run around in, especially in the jungle region.

yeah i grew out of those games years ago. Im the sort who plays an MMO and reads the quest info and dialogue rather than clicks past everything and races to max level.

I need my brain to contemplate whats going on to enjoy something :)

Exactly my problem with rage 2!! I can't play it for too long without getting bored. It's fun but only a decent game.
