They saw what happened to EA and are now thinking maybe we should remove some Microtransactions... That's gonna take time. I could see The Crew 2 having a bigger problem with this and hence a bigger delay.

Microtransactions I have no real beef with as long it's cosmetic but I bet it's down to this, they probably had in MT's that were -
"pay 500 race tokens and you get boost for an extra 10 seconds"
I dont mind if they were pay 2 win. As long as when I pay for something, I know im getting what I pay for, not a "random chance of 50 items listed that could be contained within"

Yeah I can see the reasoning behind that although for me personally I'd prefer a game without any MT's, One can dream ^_^
The good old days when you could even play a demo before hand.
I could be interested by the Crew. As long as they don't f**k it up like Need 4 Speed Payback and not give wheel support.
First racing game I have come across that does Not support wheel and pedals on any platform...

As a general rule now then I say far away from any Ubisoft and EA game at launch. Too many unfinished games with too many bugs being shipped out.
Ubisoft is N.1 here. Would maybe pick one up in the next STEAM sale when they are like 60% off.

In all fairness NFS has become an arcade racer, It doesn't deserve wheel support
Become an arcade racer, hah lol it always was in the face of games like Race07 and even way before that, problem now is its hardly about just races and more about some flimsy story that has a crappy race game attached to it.
As per the game delays, thats a good thing, but it is ubisoft and they will still manage to release it broken.
Well I must say N4S Shift was arcade but very enjoyable.

Ubisoft always delays everything so no surprise there - usually much closer to launch though
