its a rather nice monitor....like it very much!
and yeah, if you are wondering, it does have the infamous banding, so far i can only recreate it with grey colours, havent have enough time to find if theres other colour that makes the banding come out.
suppose to be A03 aswell.....bah......will check that later

anyway, i love this monitor, even tho it has that banding issue (and my one is a A04 too!), with certain settings in the monitor, it will have issue trying to display bright area from dark to light, e.g. a fading effect on colours.
if you move the window that contain that image from side to side or where ever you want, that fading light patch in the picture/photo will adjust and shift like its lagging, and instead of having a Fade effect it turns into a Layer effect, like steps of colour.
at this moment, this ''shifting''lagging'' or bright fading colours problem is kept to a minimum by playing with settings in the 2407, theres 3 modes in 2407, Desktop, Multimedia and Gaming, settings thats not in Desktop mode gave me bad banding and that shift-lag colour gets worst.
and as someone like me who takes photos a lot with D-SLR, weird colour shifting about is a big no-no....
BUT!
thats the only problem that i have at the moment with this 2407, apart from that it seems fine, if, however, my ViewSonic2025wm didn't get replaced due to crappy DVI port problem and if its a 24inch one, i might stick with it, simply because that ViewSonic has no problem in the things i do to it, i couldnt find any big fault with that 2025, apart from which it could be a bit sharper in image.....but every monitor has their good and bad bits eh?

I don't know, my 2405FPW doesn't have a bad point afaik
