Two 460 (786mb) or one 560?

Selling my 5870 because I want to go back to Nvidia, and because I would like a smaller card.

Which would be better? Two 460's of the 786mb variant, or one 560TI? You can get them for around the same price. Looked around at reviews and stuff, but I know a couple of people on here are bound to have experience with both cards!

Any info would be great thanks

Well i have no clue where that is lol. But I'm assuming the egg is out of the question. My opinion remains resolute though

Yeah, looking at either the Twin Frozor or the Palit Sonic Edition, which has a very nice factory overclock on it.

Even though the 2 756mb 460's in Sli will out perform the single 560, I'd still go with the 560 as you can always throw in a 2nd 560 when you have the money burning a hole in your pocket and they'll smash the 756mb 460's in sli.

Personally I'd go with MSI GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr II/OC

I 2nd getting the twin frozr 560. You would take a small performance hit for now but if in a couple of months you got another your performance would be obviously far better then 2 460s.

I would definitely go for the 560 , and as everyone said, just sli it later on when u need to.

but i would go with the gigabyte SOC 560 BECAUSE it is like buying a lotto ticket that you know is a winner, buying the twin frozer means you have a 'chance' of getting it to 1000mhz, BUT with the SOC you know you'll get that, plus if you're really lucky and get a 'golden' one, you'll be able to squeeze even a little more out of it.

IMO thats the way to go if your looking for something in this price range

enjoy whatever you get

alwasy get the best single card you can afford, you will have better perfromance in the long run. as well you can alwasy add an extra GTX 560 if the perfromacnme isnt enogh, however with a GTX 460 SLI your stuck at a dead end if you need more perfromance

Bought the 560 Twin Forzr from Scan! Delivery should be Thursday morning before 12, then I can post this one which I sold for £135 the same day!

Yeah I'll get some up later if I have the time. Hit the 1GHz mark but had to up the volts a little. What programs can I use to test the card? That are free anyway.

I have the Unigene Heaven engine, and use the world in conflict benchmark which is pretty good. But not much else.

It's not stable I don't think. World in conflict crashes every time I play which is annoying, yet when I drop the OC back a little it's fine...
