When it comes to tv cards I havn't got a clue but I'm looking for a card that'll allow me to plug my xbox into it via an s-video cable so that i can use my computer as a way of playing my xbox on my monitor (if thats possible). Also I was thinking of getting an xbox 360 so i'd like to be able to connect it to the tv card by a hd cable, i know some cards can recieve hdtv but are there any that can be directly connected to? Any help would be greatly apreciated :D

a tv card wouldnt be the best way of trying to use your xbox, im not the man on this sort of thing either but you are rigt in saying for an xbox360 you need hdtv cards :)

Look at the ati tv elite card, I think it has everything ur looking for.

Cheers!

Also look at the ATI saphire theatre pro 550, it came with a dongle that i would be able to plug my gamecube into by using the 3 coloured thingys. Oh and its quite a good card also, just a shame its not digital.

Caleb: no not as far as i know, but since that would onnly be a software thing, there is a possibility new software might be being worked on to do this, just check out some sites solely based on tv cards.

That one is the TV wonder elite ;)

Yes it works just as good as tivo if you have XPMCE05

from an EPG avilable on the internet.....not quite sure of any off hand but a google search will turn some out

Only problem with this saphire theatre 550 is the software that comes with it, its quite rubbish. But theres plenty of decent software available on the internet.
