Tubing and Coolant help

So i have basically all my main parts on the way. This includes my cpu block, gpu block, pump, res and radiators the only thing i haven't purchased yet is my fittings, tubing and coolant. My reason for this is income based. i have been buying things as i can afford them. I want to use either barb fittings or compression fittings. I haven't decided on which i want to use. i have to decide on what looks better to me. My main question is about tubing and coolant. I want to know what brands and how how much of both i need. I will be running a 3 x 140 or 3 x 120 rad in roof and a 2 x 140 or 2 x 120 rad in the floor of my switch 810. I will have 1 cpu block and one gpu block, adding an additional gpu block down the road for my second gpu. I realize that tubing may not make that much of a difference but please correct me if i am wrong. I want to know what a good coolant is and how much of it i will need also. I have a green and black themed pc so i was thinking black fitting with either green tubing and clear coolant or green coolant and clear tubing. The other opinion is green fittings with green tubing or coolant. However, i could see that as to much green. Please comment and recommend what ever you feel is good stuff. I like to do alot of research before i buy anything. Thanks for your time.

Mayhem's X1 Green coolant
Primochill Advanced tubing (Make sure you get Advanced, the Pro line is awful) 1/2" ID 3/4" OD
Bitspower/ EK/ Alphacool black compression fittings (1/2" ID 3/4" OD)

You could also use:
1/2" barb fittings (same brands)
7/16" tubing (same brands)

if you are looking to distilled and a biocide or silver kill coil, 2liters for start and a
third for back-up.

if using color, 3liters so the color is even and still have some backup.

6ft of hose is plenty, but a 10ft roll for mistakes and spare for that uh-oh moment.

if using clear tubing, i like to use the barb fitting (7/16 tube on 1/2" barb). i also
use color tubing on comp fittings (7/16" x 5/8") to keep from stock-piling different
hose sizes. i was a big dye user, but thats kinda worn-off due to consistancy
and the color tubing is pretty much what i need for the "look"

There are plenty of tubing out there. Tygon is highly rated, primochill is good. there is a lot of problems with plastisizer in tubing right now so be sure to get some high quality tubing. A kill coil is .999 pure silver that you put in your loop to keep anything from growing in the water.

I think most people put it in the reservoir.

Tubing size does not make any performance difference in your system 3/8 - 1/2 is common.

Like njallday said, Mayhems X1 looks very good.
You can mix it with Mayhems dyes, to make it look even better/different if you want to.
It has Biocide in it, so you probably not gonna need a Silver Coil.

Bitspower Fittings have a amazing finish and are well machined, but they are very... very expensive.
Due to bad availability and the weird pricing in my country, I decided to go with black Alphacool Compression Fittings.
They look better than on the Product Photos, shown at the Alphacool Page.

The 45° and the 90° Fittings have a little shiny glance at the angles, the straight ones have a matt Finish.

I've used 10mm ID/13mm OD Tubing from Masterkleer.

It's a lot of rumor about Tygon Tubing, but it's still just a Hose.

Just don't use NoName Tubing and Fittings... the rest is up to you.

Primochill Advance LRT been using it for 2 years now no issues. Since you say budget is a big issue forget about compressions they'll set ya back a pretty penny. Go 1/2 bards with 7/16 tubing nice tight fit with a no clamp look. Simply heat up a bowl of distilled water and stick the tube in for a coule seconds and then slip it over barb. I went with compressions for my current upgrade simply cause i never have before and I had the extra cash available to try em out. forget about dying your water get the color tubing you want and be done. Dyes are a PITA to flush out if you decide to change color and can over time discolor your other parts.

^^- this
i had a hard time selling some radiators by using dyes and colored coolant. if
someone else is wanting to use a dye it is a PITA to flush, flush and flush it out
not to fould your dye color..

distilled and a biocide or a kill coil in your return line to the res (or a silver fitting
will do the same) to combat micro organisms from growing in your system coolant.

XSPC highflex tubing is great for a no-headache plastisizer issue. and flexiable.
