Trouble at the DFI mill?????

There seems to be some strange goings on over at DFI. About 2-3 days ago a thread appeared on the DFI and Extremesystems forums, started by a seemingly disgruntled US employee. The threads were quickly removed and rumors have been rumbling quietly since then.

DFI-Street.com have shut their doors for the time being http://www.dfi-street.com/forum//index.php?s=.

What adds to the confusion is that DFI have since come out on tops in the PCPro Awards of 2006, scoring 6 stars (the max) in every category for reliability, customer support, satisfaction and 6 stars for overall.

So difficult to believe if DFI are in financial trouble.

Anybody else got anything to add or following developments?

Similar story here. Here's hoping they get things sorted, esp. for the RD600 board :(

If you check the DFI Street page it says they have parted ways...shame, never got to try out a mobo by them =\

They need to get they're c2d lanpartys out the door, every enthusiast around the globe will buy one sooner or later...
