Took my son to see Tron the movie the other night

What a let down OMG its was rubbish.

The SFX were poor, the action sequences were rubbish and dialogue was pants and OMG the whole films sucked.

No wonder there were only 5 people in the whole place to see it.

If you expect a exciting adventure film for get it, if your expecting a good story line best go read a decent book, if you walk in expecting nothing then you'll be happy to walk out none the less worse off.

Avoid at all costs ......

Thanks for the heads up, won't be going to see that then..... I used to really like the original TRON film.

i loved the original film back when it came out and seen it lots of times. My son hasn't seen the first film and hes nearly 14 now and he even turned around after wards and said "dad why did we bother" i just looked at him blankly and swiftly took him to maccky D's to cheer him up ....

I went to see it and I thought it was quite good, maybe not as good as the origional but it still is good and follows the same people, i was only dissapointed about not seeing tron more really

Hmm think I will wait till its out on Sky. A good point by Mayhem though, my kids are also unaware of some classic films so I have started educating them. Rocky, Alien, Robocop, and Top Gun is next, son needs to be able to sing the cheesy song

Well from what I hear unlike a lot of other recent remakes Tron is actually an extension to the original, not a clone.

Thus before going to see it I would recommend watching the first one again or, watching it if you haven't seen it.

Doesn't sound too good though, so I will wait until it comes out on DVD and read a few reviews.

Cheers for the heads up !

Tron Legacy is meh, the original was better. It was nice that they brought back the original actors though. The 3D isn't all that spectacular, but at least they tried to be subtle with it instead of making any flying object come right out you, which in my opinion gives it a cheap feeling. In the entire movie there was only one character that was remotely entertaining

Spoiler Alert

Michael Sheen who appears for 10 minutes before being blown up. Also random guest appearance by Daft Punk, who did a fairly good job on the soundtrack
