Not excited at all since the epic failure that is Modern Warfare 2... The game that started it all, all the higher priced PC games with no mod support, no dedicated servers, no communities being buildt because of no dedis, no custom maps, peer2peer match making and more...

I think I'll wait a few months before purchase.

Don't forget this isn't Infinity Ward.

I don't understand why people don't like Treyarch's games. I've played both of the previous Call of Duty games made by Treyarch and I liked them to a certain extent.

Treyarch are a different company to Infinity Ward like Zak said above. COD5 was a good game, it's just it didn't make a good name in the gaming world since MW2 was announced not too long after. People want new weapons and modern guns and such.... COD5 was much better imo... but then again I love WW2 games.

Don't get me wrong I love Treyarch. I played World at War for a while. Our clan had well over 2 dozen custom maps made for it. We didn't even bat an eye though when MW2 came out. No custom maps = no buy. If Activision pulls the same crap with Treyarch then we'll have another MW2 on our hands.

So long as they do something a liiittle bit different (like Nazi Zombies =P) this should be a good buy.

Plus dedicated servers will probably be included.

Atleast they have the M4(A1). That gun is just pure awesome.

A new extended trailer is out, things ive seen from various interviews around and about theres going to be an upgraded create a class that will allow appearance customisation along side the wepon and perk systems, didicated servers WILL be back for the pc, and a few new additions such as a crossbow that can fire a variety of projectiles such as explosives (Farcry 2 anyone?).

Ive not heard anything about if vehicles will be back in this one (I REALY hope they dont), but i have heard that there will be no end game kill streaks such as nukes.
