Traditional Sleeving vs Paracord?

Paracord
+ cheap
+ lots of colors
+ can't see color of wire through the sleeving
- fabric so more of a dust magnet and possible fraying over time

plastic sleeving like mdpc
+ looks better (personal opinion)
+ easier to bend the wires in the position you want (with some patience) as the sleeving is not as soft as paracord
- you can see the color of the wire through the sleeving
- more expensive (if you go for mdpc which is the best looking)

Guess you need to work with both to see what you like best as a lot of this is based on personal opinion.

I'd use MDPC over Paracord, easier to work with (still needs a lot of time and patience). I offer paracord, but I'm not a massive fan of it, the only thing its got going for it is the price and colour range IMO.

MDPC FTW!!!

i'd say sleeve is easiest for first time user, but para can give a neater finish. Totally depends how much time you take on it tbh.

Paracord is easier to give a neater finish, but its more time consuming than conventional sleeving. You have to be incredibly delicate and cover the pins in tape or use a threading tool to save any tiny pulls in the material as they can cause, 'fluff ups.'

thanks for the reply's guys! Just ordered 15ft of white paracord for a bit of a tester to see what I think! :) BTW it was only £1 off of Ebay for the good stuff anyway :D
