TJ07 & Mach 2 GT

I have a TJ07 and am going to save for a Mach 2 GT but I am unsure how I'm going to fit it as it is smaller than the case :

TJ07 : 220 mm (W) x 560 mm (H) x 565 mm (D)

Mach 2 GT : 190 mm (W) x 240mm (H )x 480mm (D)

Idealy I would like a matching surround but I am not that good at metalwork.

Probably the best solution would be to get another TJ07 and cut out the middle section :O - this would be very expensive and I don't know if I could bring myself to cut up such a great case.

Why not pick up a cheap Lian li case and put that on top of the mach.

Well the overhang at the back is not the end of the world - although my Lian Li PC70 did that and the guy I purchased it from supplied me with a simple piece of u-shaped aluminium with blow hole gut at the back and that works really well.

What you gonna be coolling with the mach?

With the alu kit fitted to the gt it is more like 210mm wide.

clone 38 - I haven't found a Lian Li case that I like - I didn't really like any tower until I saw the TJ07 - I'm very happy with it apart from the price.

I have a X2 3800 CDBHE 05335PDW with the IHS removed - I haven't played with it yet as my watercooling kit has had to be RMA'd twice - the third one arrived this morning.

Phase is more of a long term (6 months) plan as I have just spent o about £1100 upgrading and also have £450 - £500 in spare bits to sell first.

BTW are we allowed to link to ebay auction in the forum? I have seen a Chilly custom built system but I don't know if we are allowed to show competitor's products (the user has a few items to sell - all phase.)

i can't say i like the silver lian li's (i dunno why sorry) but i do like the black ones, and maybe you could get a black one delivered to big phil and he could do the thing which makes it shiney, sorry i can't think no more.

No they dont afaik, and the 06 versions of them are clocking like crazy.
