i wish to OV to more .. like 4 or 4.2 , but with these temp i guess i can't .
i would be really happy if you mates could tell me any suggestion.

maaaaan that case is ugly no offence im guessing you got it a while ago when the case market wasnt too good, also d14 is th way to go with air cooling expect nothing less than awesome with it

Noctua NH-D14, Thermalright Silver Arrow, Corsair H100, NZXT Havik 140, be quiet! Dark Rock PRO 2.
Can't think of anything else, but I am tired =[

Do you mean you're not sure the NH-D14 or Corsair H100 would fit in your case? I'm not sure if the case has mounts for two 120mm fans at the top, but it should be good for a NH-D14 or anyone of the other air coolers mentioned.

thanks for the replay mate.
well the H100 will not fit in the thermaltake bach x . i need a new case for that.
so i believe the NH-D14 sound good, im going for it :)

hehe , back then it was a bad @s case ^_^ .
but with all the Corsair and Antec now it is ridiculous

My temps are around 65 C, but I'm only at 4.0GHz. I'm going to re-mount the cooler as the temps seem too high for a 4.0Ghz OC.

that is high, depending on the ambient. how much vcore and LLC is cranked into the OC?
on a 25-28° ambient and minimal vcore 1.175-1.2v it should be 60°ish or less. 65° sounds close
to 1.25-1.275v. and possibly alot of VDROOP control. on your load testing are
you seeing alot of added voltage over your "preset" CPU voltage, this is a sandly bridge
over-clock?

Well it is about 28 C in my home office/gaming room and the window cannot be opened. I'm only pushing 1.18v through it, but I haven't looked at the settings in ages. I'll try changing a few things over the weekend and see if I can lower the temps. I'm quite sure the cooler is mounted properly and I think it is that high because of the ambient temps.
