Well done dude told you it would get there,hope its stable dude run prime for abit game on it general use open files defrag etc etc,if its unstable up the vcore abit more ur fine to 1.4v on air temps still seem fine fella

I solved the OC problem by altering the DRAM frequency by lowering it and swapping my memory around. Cheers to AMDFTW for helping on this. Back later as I have a school course to do this morning. Later on will start upping it some more.

Had Prime95 running for an hour to see if ok. Keeping an eye on temps as they seem low.

temps look good,not sure what the max is but i bet its about 55-60c so try for 4.1-4.2 dude

Max is about 45C as I was running Prime95.

Win7 booted ok but Internet explorer froze up. Back to 4Ghz for the moment.

try 4.1 least u got into windows,in that case bump up the vcore then try ram volts

Upped the vcore volts to 1.312 and DDR volts to 2.2. No joy- Hangs at BIOS screen page.

1.4v-1.45v on air RAM is at its max without cooling,4.1Ghz is still a nice OC mate keep pushing till you get to them voltages,ide leave RAM now IMO or maybe take it down another notch like before but you shouldent need to

hmm then its your board mate or the chip.have you turned th RAM right down???,o well its bestter that 3.6 tho mate

Looks like I have hit the wall with this E8400 it will not let me boot above 4.1Ghz. Would reducing my memory from 4Gb to 2Gb help.
