Time to Overclock MSM2

Failed test. So is it CPU temps,CPU volts,Memory and Memory volts or is my PSU no good. As CPU temps were good, will try upping the CPU volts a little.

Well done Prime95 for 6 or so hours to check for stability.

Honestly, stability is a little overrated. If Prime95 is going to fail, it will probably do so in the first hour if not the first 5 minutes. Plus if it doesn't crash when you're gaming or anything who cares. I'd run it for a while to make sure it's semi stable.

:(The rig doesnt like 3.6Ghz,had a few BSOD this morning so backed it down for a while. Needs to be tweaked with. Not too sure that my memory is coping with OCing. More digging around the web.

Not too sure about my memory, when I OC to 3.6Ghz it BSOD the rig, swapped memory around and still no joy.My Geil memory should run at 2.2 to 2.4 volts but in BIOS it says 1.9volts. Also In CPU-Z it states memory is DDR2 PC2-6400 (400) but on memory itself it is DDR2 PC2-8500 so am totally confused with it.

Probably cuz you didn't manually set your memory to 1066 Mhz /2.2-2.4v.. or did you?

Do you have a high multiplier so it doesn't want to go that high? If you pop your multi down a notch and up your memory to stock volts and speed does it work?
