I thought i make a thread for little handy Folding At Home Tips *

always handy if we can help each other for a little better PPD

One thing i found out.. might be you already know this but when you use the SMP client and multiple GPU setup on one machine ,

always start up the SMP client first! then the GPU clients or else the SMP will be crippled by a lot at least in my case this is,

i am using SMP + 2x GTX260 and 1x GTX460...

So if you have little handy F@H Tips* please share them my fellow Folders....

That's interesting, I didn't know this. Will be handy if I ever get around to dual GPUs

I use a batch file to start each one a couple of second apart automatically on boot.

If you get one of those pesky SMP2 WU's that fail instantly and just won't go away after deleting work folder, queue.dat and info just change the machine ID to a different number in the config file and try again. You will be pleased with the results
