My sisters 667 Celeron Coppermine (s370) zip's around XP Pro fine. 256MB PC133 RAM.

EDIT: That has a 100MHz FSB, my sisters Celeron has a 66MHz FSB. That thing should run fine.

You can always overclock it too.

My very own first rig was a...

IBM PS/2 (Personal System 2) w/a 14" Colour Monitor did 640x480 @ 62Hz.

25MHz 480SX, 4MB ram, 172MB HDD, Windows 3.1. Regular floppy & a dinosaur floppy.

512k ISA GFX, forgot what kind.

My second rig,

Compu-Net 486 DX2, (leet), 8MB ram, 500MB hdd (something like that), 2MB Trident PCI, win 95, 40x cdrom and floppy.

third was the old family rig

packard bell 100mhz pentium, 32MB ram (had been upgraded), 1GB seagate barracuda, win98 (from 95), 4x cdrom, floppy.

then i got my LEET compaq in 2001.

had 700Mhz duron, 512mb pc133, geforce 2 ti 32mb agp4x, 20gb 7.2k maxtor, 24x cdrw, sb live 5.1, 40x cdrom, windows me. that thing was top-of-the-line back then .

my DAD's first rig was the original IBM PC [his work game it to him] .. it even had a tape backup drive and a full 20 mb hdd!!! 4.77 Mhz of pure goodness ... luckily i was too young to use the POS properly << tho lotus 123 was the roxors>> i think it had the full 256 K ram .... i think it may b in storage @ ma DADs work

The worst computer i ever used running XP was a P1 233mhz, 64mb ram and 20gb HDD. It ran like hell it only took about 40-50secs to boot and it was always on 24/7 running MSN Messenger, IRC, Firefox and sometimes Winamp was left playing. It ran great i still love it . i also ran Mandrake on this machine and worked fine aswell.
