This NAS drive as a regular PC drive?

Game Over

I am not familure with the whole Network drive thing, I need more storage, to have my game video capture to save to, to store some games and even play games along with movie, music, photo, graphic work storage, etc. Basically everything.

I came across this drive

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...yMark=False&IsFeedbackTab=true#scrollFullInfo

and was wondering if this would be fine to use as a regular PC hdd or if there would be any issues it being a nas drive?

also can I just format it like any other drive or does this need some special software/drivers or something?

I am looking for at least 2gb and looking to save some money, this looks like a good price and has a 5 egg rating.

Your thoughts?
