Thermaltake's SwordM Luxury Chassis

Don't mean to be rude but this is old news (runs and hides) I remember us all ripping this apart quite some time ago!

It was awful then and I think its actually got worse!
 
Absolutely jack! Now if it had a built in wine chiller, or even a killer sound system that started when you popped the hood....Now that would be luxury.

Just cleaning out the inbox (feel free to assist) ;) ;) ;) ;) Yes we saw a preview of it some time ago, but now it's a reality.....even scarier rofl. That's news

that is one ugly azz case :stickpoke

i really wonder how thermaltake can stay in business with designs like this and all their other shoddy peices of equipment tbh.

ime pretty sure when frag comes along he is going to suddenly feel sick:p

I'm just waiting for the Thermaltake that bounces up and down with hydraulic suspension :p
 
Think the upward bounce has been worked out, but the downward bounce needs some working on cos bits tend to fly everywhere, so maybe a few months to go in dev for that.

Hopefully just in time for SSD drives to become mainstream...otherwise I'll end up with some dead Hitachi's on my hands :p
 
Looks a bit gimmicky to me

With it closed, it reminds me of a small car with Ski's on the roof :confused: most of the hydraulic stuff etc is completely un-needed and in most cases would hardly be used. :rolleyes:

I also agree with PV, you wouldn't describe it as a 'luxury' item
 
TBH the idea of useing hydrolics in a case is a cool idea though the way they have carried it out make it look crap, haveing hydrolics or a solinoid that opens the case would look cool if it wasnt too over the top
 
and if memory serves me correct from last time we met Tt it'll be made in limited quantities............with about 500 coming to the UK................woopdedoo
 
Funny as i believe they only get bashed here. If they where THAT bad they would be outa business like somebody mentioned. I dont agree with some of their products, but they arent as bad as you guys try to make them out to be. They are just a company with a few ....er...strange ideas trying to make a buck like the rest of us.
 
Mate, i think its the fact they call it luxury - dont get me wrong but I know some better or at least worth of being called quality made by silverstone, antec, lian li, gigabyte...the list goes on - get my drift?

I've worked on a few TT cases, the buggers cut me everytime in different places and the installation of everything was made harder due to the fact stuff didnt actually fit :rolleyes: :)
 
To some ppl who dont know any better flashy stuff like that could be luxury. Just because we know better dosent mean somebody else dosent. Believe it or not there are more n00bs out there than there are decent techs that no things. Guys just getting started who cant do stuff like that for themselves look at that with a "wow". Seen it before many times at Frys and i just sit back and laugh.
