Hi everyone,im new to all this so be gentle pleese!

I currently own a thermaltake armor LCS case and i'm looking on moding it and i would like some pointers and help please.

Any help given is greatly apreciated.

Also i recently bought a Tt bigwater 760i because i was not happy about the setup but i quickly realized i was wrong, any way my question is,would i be able to install my old rad located at the front of the case to my 760i to lower cpu and gpu temps.

Idle cpu temp:40

Idle gpu temp:53

(gpu is a Asus 8800gtx)

Thank-you in advance everyone who is willing to give me advice on these matters.

What sort of mod are you looking at performing? I have one of those cases atm, although not in used on my main rig

im looking on sprayint the inside of the case black, mount a 120x240 rad on the bottom of my case and create better cable managment.

I just hope i don't mess anything up.

:O I sprayed mine black...

assuming you have the newer version armor+ you can mount a 240cm thermochill or simlar rad st the bottom and I had and XSPC rad at the exhaust, spray painting black would look nice, but rather than just black get VW diamond Black metalic, use primer filler (spray putty) then the base coat diamond black, the a nice clearcoat to give it gloss, one more timp ensure that you get a good automotive degreaser to thourhghly clean the inside prior to painting to ensure there are no reactions in the paint

THANKYOU SwaleSmith for your advice!

I apreciate it.

Gonna spay it this week.I will post pics B4 and after.

Oh,I only have the crapy first armour edition but it still gets the job done(and looks prety good aswel)

Could be but I would go to halfords and get paint thinner/cellulose thinners. and then use one of there black spray cans, you have a few ways you can do this.

A) the best can method is primer, matt black and the clear cout lacquar however this finish is glossy.

b) if not you could use hammerite spray has good adhesion to metal and gives a semi gloss.

depends if you want gloss (glossy effect like car paint) satin (semi gloss) or matt (no shine)
