Thermalright to release a limited run copper TRUE

Hmm, I think the mentioning of the weight is a wize move, and I think any1 looking to purchase it should take it under advisement. There are precausions to make.

Other than that, it looks sweet, $99 is pretty good for a special, I did expect more.

The thing that would sway me either way on this or main one they come out with is the base of it. I really really don`t like the ones that put the pipes directly to the cpu surface. Immediate install from new is fine, but the cleaning of them after uninstalling them isn`t fun imo. OCZ V2 is a pita.

Being as it`s a special, I`m not sure if it`s worth testing one.

Nice piece.

the problem over original is corrosion.

Original and true black were plated with non corrosive metal.

From my personal experience, exposed copper tends to suffer from corrosion and this directly affect colling performance.

I hope the base is better then the one on the extreme! I received mine last night and spent a good part of the night lapping the damn thing. The case was soooo curved

Isn't aluminium more effective at dissipating heat whereas copper is more effective at conducting it? Which would mean not only would the new TRUE be heavier and more expensive, it would also be less effective at cooling your CPU.
