I always chuckle when I hear this.......

yes its true it does indeed work but its only temporary.
I'd only use this if you have no proper paste to hand, which will buy you time to get some.... :lol:

I personally use Coollaboratory Liquid Pro/Ultra on my CPU (Ultra is only 1€ more than Pro where I live so meh)
It's perfectly safe to use. Just make sure it doesn't get in contact with aluminum.
