There will be no more updates for Mass Effect Andromeda

Shame. The over exaggerating vocal minority has ruined a game that had real potential. Andromeda had its share of problems but it was nowhere near the trainwreck it was made out to be.

Lots of truth in that. Yes it was a crap sequel to the original Mass Effect games but that's not really a fair comparison as ME 1-3 are the best games ever IMO. ME:A by itself was actually a pretty fun game. I put 65 hours in it and enjoyed it.

As a Mass Effect game it sucked but as a video game, it's actually one of the better ones. The combat was a blast! I loved the jet pack thing and the sniper rifle was a lot of fun to play with.

But yeah, this is the age of temper tantrums and it looked like EA just scrubbed the whole project rather than listen to another one.

It's a pity to see it end this way.

It started off kind of slow but I thought it really picked up once you got off the 1st world in it. I ended up playing 53 hours in the end, the side quests got a little boring eventually but the main story was quite good in the end I thought.

There's a lot of stuff that's really set up for a sequel or more DLC like the mysterious Benefactor, the Remenant creators, the Quarian ark. Sad that it'll likely never see a conclusion now.
