The US Elections

Well like Romney beat Obama in Texas by like 1.2 million votes but only got 38 votes where as in Cali Obama got 55 votes but only actually won by roughly 400,000 votes and so on

Aaah, I see. Well, it makes me happy that they do it the way that they do, then. Even though it seems fairer to do it by population alone, not by state? Ah well

Will be no way near as much of a landslide victory, though. I really do wonder why they think the way they're doing things is the best way? Surely counting each vote individually and taking the largest recipient of overall votes is the best way of doing things?
How very strange.

A double edged sword, though. In another 4 years, their system may very well cost the rightful winner his/her place in the White House.

They are the same candidate the only thing different about them is one is white while the other is black it's sickening tbh.

A choice between "Bad" and "Worse..." and "Worse" won again!

Pretty sad state of affairs when one cannot vote for a candidate, but must vote against another. Paul Simon had it right in "Mrs Robinson.." Anyway you look at it you lose....

South Park said it right in an old episode. It's between a turd sandwich and a giant douche. I did not want Obama to win, but at the same time Romney wasn't the answer. I find myself siding with republicans on economic issues, but will often side with dems on some social issues. Either way, we need to get this country out of the whole we're in and I really don't think either candidate is capable of doing that.

It doesn't matter who won. The biggest issue Americans need to worry about is who is going to step up to the plate and fix things without worrying about how popular they are. Politicians skirt issues not because they can't decide what's right or wrong, but because they are worried about upsetting this group of people or that group of people. Inaction is much easier to keep everyone somewhat happy than actually doing something and setting someone off.

I think of the commercials, flyers, robo-calls, traveling, and millions of dollars of other campaign expenses used to get a figurehead into office who won't make any kind of difference whatsoever and how that money could be used to actually change American society. It sickens me to know that everyday our national debt has interest, interest FFS, that is added in the 10s of billions of dollars.

It doesnt matter who wins/won. The Prez is only two things: a salesman and puppet.
Presidents come and go but the CIA is always there. The president doesnt give orders: he takes them. The last president who showed any will of his own got his brains blown out. Thats a fact. Since then the figureheads have all been happy to play the game because its an all expense paid sales job. Politics in the US is a fantasy. The parties postulate like they are opposed to one another, but in the end the powers that be always get what they want: more money and power. 3 presidents have seen UFO's with their own eyes and knew they werent from this planet. When they became president they asked about it and were basicly told by the CIA to shut up and forget about it: their enquiries went nowhere. This is the president, CIC, and couldnt get an answer. They are well paid (for life) to play the game and sell what they are told to.

As for elections, the general vote means zilch, nada. The president is elected by the Electoral College. They only let people vote so they can feel like they have some control over the situation. In a day when computers rule everything, voting machines would be a piece of cake to hack by the CIA. They dont even need to do that because they have control over everything. Do you think 'they' intend to leave something like presidential elections to CHANCE? no way.

This last election was of courose controlled, but more importantly the voters had to decide who they feared most, and not vote for him even though the vote didnt mean anything.
