985MB/s may seem excessive but OpenEXR uncompressed 1080p@60fps footage has a bit-rate of 950.2MB/s. From this it would be easy to see how 8K@60fps could quite easily exceed that 985MB/s transfer speed even using compression seeing as how 8K is 16 times the pixel count as 1080p.
