some positive news from me is that my rig finally BSOD while i was sat at it (YAY!)

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL or something like that anyway changed some RAM settings and hopefully when i wake up tomorrow afternoon with a hang over it will still be folding

Yeah I got that problem on my old PC. Here is what Microsoft says...

"This blue screen crash typically happens when one of your system/device drivers is either incompatible/corrupted."

i had it ones going nuts , just out of the blue... with a PIEPload of BSOD's

My i5 laptop and i7 desktop are still crunching the small SMP units, the C2D laptop got given a 7611 WU with base points at 788 yesterday. It doesn't like this one so much, PPD is down to 2000.

Hopefully in 9 hours when that one is done I'll get another 88 pointer.

I think it's around the 4000 mark, about the same as a 8800/9800GT IIRC. Hope all goes well with it.

I'm looking at getting a cheap 939 board as I can grab an old dual core opteron. I'm only going to do it if I can get a board with two PCI-E 16x slots. If that happens the 460(768mb) will go in that system and I have room to put another cheap card in there in the near future.

I will then have room in my main rig to move my 5609 Ti into the top slot and get a single slot GPU and house it in the very bottom slot.

Failing all that the 460 is going on ebay (unless anyone here wants to make an offer) and that money will go towards a 560.

Either way, I'm after a solution to the loss of PPD from my 460 working along side the 560 Ti.
