This thread will be devoted to keeping track of all memory module utilizing the Micron D9xxx IC's. I will get started on the list after work today and try and keep it as updated as possible. Please feel free to post modules that are already known to use these IC's and I will consolidate everything tonight, thanks in advance for the help! When posting, please include serial number along with kit size, timings, and PC2 speed. I'll also add links of where to purchase the RAM in both the US and UK, sound good?

sounds good - i've been looking at much the same info for my impending move to Core 2.

G.Skill 6400 HZ 4-4-4-12 after ~May '06 uses D9

Cellshock 6400 4-4-4-12 uses Micron & so does Team 6400 Xtreem 4-4-4-10

G.Skill 1GBGA & 2GBGA ,DDR2-667, 3-4-3-8 2.1v -- D9GMH

Get'em @ Egg

The 1GBGA & 2GBGA that are rated for DDR2-800 are also D9GMH and rated for 3-4-3-8 iirc.

does this mean my PQI ram is good for being up therE? O_O

Well, technically it's not actually up there. All Frag has in his post right now is just the companies and no specific kits. That of course does not mean that your RAM doesn't have those chips, it just means that currently it is not confirmed that it does.

crucial ballistix and 10th anniversary pc5300 use d9gmh

as already mentioned, all teamgroup xtreem are d9, also the gmh type

kingston hyperx pc8500 1gb (2x512mb) are d9gkx

Ohh hopefully it does since I think TUrbo is the best of the line haha

Not sure. Might just be Elpida. Try DDR2-1000 @ 4-4-4-12, 2.3v-2.4v. If that works, D9xxx. If not, try 5-5-5-15 or 5-5-5-20 @ 1000. If that works, it's prolly Elpida or Promos.

Mushkin D9

These are probibly not going to be availble long.

I got 2 4GB sets running now.

8GB is no faster now than 4 as usual having more memory brings on more problems. I was able to Overclock it better using one kit of 4GB but I want to pack the memory in for my Crysis game.

Crysis doesn't like a big overclock anyway.

Vista64 eats the memory right up.
