yet people have no issues with Noctuas brown cack?
I dunno though. Put this in a pc with any kind of lighting, even white. And the fan colour will not look like it does now, the lighting will offset that blue. I don't even find it that bad. I get the feeling that people buying this won't care how their interior looks.
Noctua, for many, takes them back to their childhood. IE, the beige of the 70s. It's also incredibly unusual, and hey performance talks. But.. Black would have been perfect. It doesn't need RGB but blue? who has blue PC components now?
People will care how it looks man. How many people you seen build a PC with one of the coolers they made before with them honking fans on? VS how many Noctua builds we have seen.
tbh, if I google any kind of PC build with whatever term I use that doesnt specifically say Noctua... I get watercooled or AIO. I just see purchasers getting this purely on performance, which has yet to be seen.
My thinking is they went with what is the popular choice of RGB in a case. Blue theme is pretty popular and often combined with UV "purple". And I mean the lighting not the components.
The fans poor choice of colour will pop out in this kind of lighting and probably look far better than it does without any object source.
Personally I cant grasp the concept of people still using Air coolers like this in 2023. Regardless of performance. They are just oversized bulky monstrocities. I stopped using these over a decade ago. Thats not me being a snob because I water cool. Its just me thinking that these belong in the 90s or Noughties.
