I actually think Andor was better than The Mandaloriain. Andor actually made me take Star Wars seriously again from the point of storytelling and character development, not just fun spectacle.

yep i like andor too, thought it was a bit long/slow sometimes.
i like the more serious star wars better.
rouge one was way better (imo) than the new trilogy.
not a big achievement i know.
the new trilogy got worse with every movie.
the last one was so bad it is the only star wars movie i did not watch in cinema.

Yeah, I have no interest in rewatching the sequel trilogy. Force Awakens had promise, but like you said, it worsened with each film. The Last Jedi had some bold storytelling points and visuals, but it stands out like a sore thumb. There seemed to be no direction or point to anything. Stuff just... happened.
Andor and Rogue One are the highlights of post-Disney Star Wars. And The Mandalorian is endearing and fun to watch. It's quite comforting watching Grogu and Mando travel the stars together.
