Hey guys I've only just been looking into doing this project for a short period of time, but like most Custom PC builders it's been a long time dreamed about.
So the gist of my build, so far consists of these parts on paper and nothing has been purchased (yet), but I have a rough idea what i want the theme of the build to represent hence the HULK PROJECT title and any feedback will be noted and taken into much consideration.
List of considered components:
Case - NZXT Phantom 630 (white but will but painted green and modded)
CPU - Intel 4770K
Motherboard - Gigabyte G1 Sniper 5 1150
CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i (for now but later down the track will be upgraded to a custom loop).
RAM - Kingston Beast 16gb (2x8Gb) DDR3-2133
Storage - Kingston HyperX 3K 240GB SSD & Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM.
GPU - Gigabyte Geforce GTX 780 3GB
PSU - Seasonic 1000W 80Plus Platinum
OS - Windows 7 Professional (64bit)
Monitor - ?
Mouse - ?
Keyboard - Max Night Hawk X8 purple back lit
Fans - ?
LEDs - white in case with purple and green accent lights
Cable sleeving - green with purple shrink tubing
OK now for some back story to add more detailed information to help you guys know where I am, what budget I've got, what I'll be using this for and if i will be overclocking it?.
I live in Australia so all the sh*t here is expensive lol, so I don't really have a budget per say this is going to be an evolving build depending on how my finances are at that moment in time but also in saying that i do want quality for my dollar and if i have to wait and save just to get the product that I want I will do so (hence why this will be a long build).
I'll be using this rig for pretty much gaming mainly not at the super highest resolutions but the next sort of level down. I will also need it to do some video editing and general computerizing from time to time also.
But in the beginning I'll be running the system stock standard until i get the confidence/nerve to try and do some overclocking and then eventually tri/quad SLI and liquid cooling the system.
So I hope this helps with any questions you might need answers to before returning any feedback on project and happy to supply anymore information if needed.
Cheers guys.
