Saw this just now and thought i'd add myself to it.

Me at a LAN, my justification for the 3 monitors, I was Sysadmin for the LAN and ive got a deep hate of using VNC when the computer is nought but 6 ft away from me, so use a screen instead.

On the middle screen I was obliterating the entire LAN party at Urban Terror which is a CS copy based on the Quake engine, and by obliteration, I was the top of the scoreboard with a 20 point margin every game.

They've now learnt not to play FFA against a comp player

, quite a nice game. Quake 3 engine is an amazing engine. I spent so many hours looking at the engines code, improved a little bit, fixed some flaws etc... I got 1 flaw which can crash the server constantly, can be sent remotely without having to connect to the server

. But that's a secret lol. I did release it to admins @ crossfire.nu and they released a LUA fix for Enemy Territory (which is also free btw, played since 2003).

People are always dissing the Quake engine, but most engines in this current age are based on the Quake engine, such as CoD. Console CMD's are still the same, and some memory addresses, plus bugs

.

Funny really, I remember seeing my sisters BF playing Quake 3 on his Dreamcast, and thinking 'that is the worst game I've ever seen'. Ended up playing it for 3 years every day all day a few months later hahaha.
