The GTX Titan X is now available to purchase

Depressing...even with all of those resources it still can't break the 60fps barrier at 4K (without the OC). What I would be very interested in is the thermals when running those games at those settings.

I saw the release of this on nVidia's website. So I went to look for reviews, and there are none. This release is weird. Are they doing what AMD did with the ProDuo and leaving the gaming sector solely to the 1060, 1070 and 1080? I'd be impressed if that's their intentions. Isolating the Titan XP as consumer grade compute card makes sense, because that's what it's best for.

Now if only it was a 1080ti instead so that we could get a decent cooler etc. Unless of course nVdia is opening up the titan.

Really wish MSI would follow suit and release a titan lightning maybe a zues.

Gagabite etc have made nice ones like the Xtreme gaming, but where the lightning.

LOLing at the sour grapes around the various forums. Even the most hardened Nvidia fanboys are all slating this card into the ground because they can't afford it.

This is just the beginning. Nvidia are getting closer to Moore's law and boy do they want paying for it.

The 1080ti will be upward of £800. I know it, you know it, we all know it.

Hilariously the people suffering the most due to not being able to afford this Titan are mostly the ones who run AMD into the ground and call for their demise.

It's just the most delicious slice of salty tear flavoured irony.

HA! I loved that part especially.

I really do hope that AMD can make another RX480 with Vega. That card is growing on me more and more.

Hardware Canucks & PCPer have both been given samples for release day.

Ryan Shrout's comments on twitter about the card this morning made me want to punch the world and then keep on punching.

Ufff... same here, thinking a lot of the Rx 480... Now back to the Titan X - this is another re run of the Titan Z. Can people wake up out of the Nvidia Spell??? AMD is out there and looking good for less price.

I must have been living under a rock... Since I have no idea about what that is all about ...

Same overprice crap either way. Besides this isnt like the original titan where it could be used for purposes other than gaming. Well you still can, its just not great.

The performance increase over an AIB 1080 is abysmal.

It would be interesting to see how the Titan X overclocks. The clocks are pretty low on it.

They are absolute beasts for overclocking, even more so with water cooling.

The cores are reaching 1080 OCed speeds and one guy has managed 5900 (2950mhz) on the memory which is better than I have seen on any 1080.
