About 20 years ago we went to a game shop in Notingham, it had the 1st VR gaming (& an in-door half pipe), twas a cilinder to stand in, controls for each hand and a big headset with a screen inside. My brother played a medievil game fighting other human player that were skeletons, in a castle. We watched gameplay on a TV.
About 5-10 years later there was a TV programme game-show using a similar VR system
