The evil within or Ryse: son of Rome?

Ok I'd like to know what you guys would recommend between these 2 games: The evil within or Ryse: Son of Rome?
Both look visually stunning and it's hard to decide which one to get on steam!?
Any advise?

I'd go with The Evil Within personally, Ryse seems more about graphics and less about gameplay with QTEs everywhere. The Evil Within is looking like a good game with good graphics and good gameplay.

I'd wait for reviews first, there are already ones for Ryse so you can read those now but obviously you will have to wait for reviews for The Evil Within.

Played and completed Ryse and I must say game play is great story is driven but short and graphically is very pretty

looks like Ryse is a bit short and repetitive from the review I looked at, gfx look amazing though!
Dilemna... I may end up getting Shadows of Mordor instead, as all the reviews are extremely positive!

Game play is great if you're into QTEs. Most people are not.

Dilemna... I may end up getting Shadows of Mordor instead, as all the reviews are extremely positive!

I'd recommend SoM over those two as well. The combat is very fun, seems to be properly optimized (running at 60fps+ most of the time on a 290 with the hd pack), story is meh, I'm much more interested in roaming around and doing side-quest than doing the main mission and the captains/warlords ladder makes it somewhat unique.
