Also news Mark is that Ubisoft has elected to not release this on steam instead it'll be a Uplay and Epic Store exclusive

Pull out of a contract with Valve! and have the Gaben upset? probably a smart move to not burn their bridges, just incase. Steam are still the leading games distribution platform on PC aren't they?
On the game side lets just hope they have also supported some more interesting gameplay. The first one was so boring, good mechanics but it was a game of unlock a new skill and go and do the same thing over and over and the novelty wore off very quickly

Pre-orders were already available on Steam for Far Cry. The Division 2 was just a landing page when Ubisoft made the call.

Ha ha maybe! If the quests are memorable I may pick it up - likely down the line as they love changing everything all the time and I get fed up.
True. I havent jumped in to Div 1 since we were grouped. It felt a little weird being boosted. I was unloaded my clips and you were dropping targets in a couple of hits.

This is going to be a day 1 buy for me, Absolutely love TD1, Got 400 hours in it so will be doing co-op madness with a friend again ^_^

I get that and been there. I won't loading into 1 anymore though (put in well over a 1000h). Played the alpha and it was better is all I can say but I'm weary of massive; they are clueless as to what they are doing and needs to be done - they should stick to just dance and uplay.

Bullet sponges weed me off. Put in about 20 hours, so I was happy enough (I paid £20 for it). Shame, as if it was not so frustrating for some one who is not a crack shot (like me

Damn can't believe the 4K specs - so my 7820X 1080Ti won't cut it (not sure why CPU wise
as the core clocks are faster then the 7900 and is it really going to use 10 cores)? Oh well have to give it a miss then

People with those graphics card will have those CPUs anyway. (Maybe not a 10 core but a Ryzen 7 and Intel i7)

They really need to optimize their stuff, rather than suggesting otherworldly specs. The same happened with 1, for example steam areas tanked performance etc.
Having said that, alpha performance on my system was lackluster and needed serious graphical down tuning to achieve playability. It might improve with the final product, of course.
