temps need more rads?

hi i have 1 3930k at 1.37v and 2x 7970 all overclocked and after 30 minuets of BF3 on 100% fans on 6x 120mm 60mm thick rads i get 71C on CPU and 61C on both GPU's.

Do i need more radiator space as id like to run the fans at 50% to lower the noise.

Get like a 900D and 2x 480mm and a 240mm maybe.

Cheers

not knowing much about your rig, but sounds about par for temps.
hardware wise.. 2x 360x 60 radiators which ones?
fans are 100% what fans?
water blocks?
has this been a standard issue or degrading temps over time?

tbh, you can increase the radiator capacity and fan count, but what i found out
was i'd get the same levelized temperatures, just took a lot longer to get them.
when i switched cases to accommodate the larger radiators i did note a lower
operating temperature, until the system normalized. and only by 3°-8° lower.

how much more GHz loss is there with a 1.25-1.275vCORE? temps might be a lil
more tolerable.

so you have 6 120mm rads with a fan on each??? or you have 2 360mm rads?? what case is this in saying fans on 100% tells us nothing at all please list a full complete list of components. And please dont say its in my sig cause sigs change you should always post it in the thread itself.

OK the spec are as follows

I7-3930K 4.5Ghz @ 1.37v - 4x4GB 2133Mhz Corsair Vengance - 2x3GB HD7970 Ghz Edition 1135/1575Mhz - Asus Rampage Formula IV X79 - 120GB+240GB SSD - 500GB HDD - 1050W Corsair Power Supply.

Gentle Typhoons 1850rpm on each rad and 1x 120mm rad, 1x 240mm rad, 1x 360mm rad all 60mm thick.

XSPC Raystorm block and EK 7970 full blocks on each GPU and a Koolance PMP-450S pump. Switch 810 case.

TBH mate somethings not right.

Did you bleed all the air out? Is it flowing top to bottom?

FYI way to win a n000000n badge with that 120mm rad on the back lol

I had it spare so i thought i might as well use it lol.

Yes the air is bleed as much as i can see if i shake the case anymore no air comes out.

Yes top to bottom

What's your ambient temperature? Those temps seem a bit nuts for that kinda of setup...

the temps don't sound that bad to me 61c for a pair of overclocked 7970s
ive got a 7950 on air not overclocked that hits 68/70c balls to the wall

gpu blocks are much bigger thay will for the most part be cooler then the cpu block only thing I would have done is use a tube res then you can have shorter loop runs
very nice looking rig :)

I've got 2 x 580's (pretty hot cards) on water that don't go over 50c on a single 280 rad... something doesn't add up here..

I am also running 3 monitors so that causes more load would that amount to the extra temps was lower before the 3 monitors.

ambient around 25 ish

running 3 monitors has got to be puting a lot more load on the cards ive got a 32 inch tv I use with one 7950 im only running 1080 res if your running higher res then I don't think your temps are bad at all

maybe time to have a clean out new thermal compound change the water but I don't think the temps are bad tho with two cards dumping heat into the water no way can thay stay under 50c I just don't see that happening

it basically all new was thinking about getting a corsair 900D sexy case and 2x 480mm rads?

Think this is a good idea i like the case but shall i get the rads or just put the rads i have in it?

my 780s never go above about 45 with 24 ambient..
