I just mounted this thing on my dothan. Time for some load testing

Thats the mobo with 2 layers of 1/8in insulation. As you can see i started insulating to the right side but decided that there is no point.



I bought longer screws for the asus backplate. They fit through the Vapo kit backplate so I used the stock mobo one right behind this.



Well I tightened this bolt too much. I broke that part of the socket luckily i have a spare . Iam running the thing with 2 bolts and the contact seems ok.



So basicaly the insulation is as follows.

2 layers of 1/8in tape.

adapter and to the side of the adapter is 1 layer of 1/8in tape

then 2 layers of cork tape. Thats it .

:EDIT: I also put a piece of 1/8in tape in the center of the socket

Almost done with the thing. I changed to a bigger cap tube to allow for more load. The temps were a bit high so i decided to use 2 fans on the condensor. I should be done by thursday and ill try and ship it by friday.
