Temperatures okay?

I'm wondering about my temps. I was a little worried when i seen the 74c mark(cpu not cores). So I went and look up some reviews. It seems that 74c isn't too bad for load temperatures.

Test were ran on

875k @ 4.2ghz on 1.39vcore (HT off)

EVGA P55 FTW 200

Venomous X

Ultra Kaze 3000 RPM(During the fans were on low.)

Good, bad great?

What were the core temps dude? If you use something like HWmonitor that will tell you the core temperatures.

Core temperatures were around 71-78.

Thats ntb but you dont want it any hotter. id reduce the clocks and put HT bacvk on tbh. what was the bclk and multi?

just wondering what kind of overclock this CPU would get

I had my i7 860 4000Mhz F@H ..at those Temps you had , on my old crappy WC cooler...

running 24/7 no probs so far ...

I haven't yet.. It like alot of vcore for anything. I can boot at 4.4ghz with HT at 1.364. But it far from being stable.

4.2ghz without HT needs around 1.4vcore =\

They are not the best of chips, dogs tbh. The 870 is a far better chip.

Just get a better CPU cooler dude.
