Well, i got hit by a wave of spyware from something i will not mention (i dont want to get flamed tbh) and im tired of it. I got services now running from .exes that according to Windows dosent exist. Wtf? :eh: Well im doing like alot of people have been recomended (cause im not scared to lol) and im formating. Ik, spyware is the worst crap besides virus' to ever hit the computer world. See you in a few hours haha.

Heres just a few of them ive takin out already but are still "there".

dllmgr64.exe

iF2.exe (i believe)

irdvxc.exe

urdvxc.exe

ipv7.exe seems new as well (Yes i know 6 comes with Windows)

sysmgr64.exe

and a few others i have forgotten. You see these running in your processes you got problems.

Clean format and it seems its worse. Not only is my network being accessed all the time but i have only 15 processes that arent doing anything and are critical system processes. :eh: I really dont get it.

One thing I hate is glancing at the network items in the tray and seeing activity.

Then checking and u got nothing running...?!?!

Check TCPview and nothing is talking to anything.

.. and yet the network is chugging away, u check the stats and bytes are coming and going...

(I know the viral stuffz - we can forget that)

Just bugs me tbh. I mostly think it`s alg.

If u want to delete them items, not that I`m saying u should (*disclaimer), do it in safe mode logged in as the admin if possible. Seems to me tho (without checking) u have atleast 2 system critical things in u`r list.

Full format. Seems somethin i was installing was giving some bad spyware. Same crap i was talking about before. At least this time i pin pointed it and didnt install it.

What was the program? (just intrested)

Messenger's done me before when one of my sons downloaded a third party extension that totally stuffed a PC.

I had a PC well infested last night - luckily spybot cleared it all out (about 37 nasty fixes).

I "interviewed" my 2 sons and one vaguely said that he had gone to a link to run a browser based game (he has been asked not to do this on one of the PCs, 'cos that got infected bad before, so he took me literally, didn't use that PC, but instead went to a PC that he hadn't infected before. Grrrr!)

My other son told me that he had clicked on an anonymous messenger invite, that he incorrectly thought was from someone he knew - apparently that invited loads of bad stuff in! I was annoyed that he hadn't bothered to tell me.

I really cannot work out why they cannot grasp the importance of not inviting spyware onto our network from all these very dodgy places!

Perhaps I'll ban them for a week - then at least I'd get some gaming time!

The only way to manage it is to make them ask you before they accept messages etc. I do it with my daughter, and have also explained the other sinister reasons why she has to ask me, and she understands luckily.

I got this crap from just installing the program and running it. Nothing else. It would also crash on me everytime i send a text via MSN and one night it crashed on me about 3 times in a row. Not only that, did i find out it was loaded. Great
