Swiftech Releases MCR Drive Heat Exchangers

It's certainly a very good product, one of the most interesting of the recent months I'd say!

While this is unlikely to have nothing on a custom built and elaborate high end watercooling loop

Just a bit curious as to why you'd say this though? It's hardly a prebuilt kit, it's a high end radiator, with a built in radiator and a quality pump... Less restriction than a typical loop and easier to put together.

Nice to see some news too! What's happened lately?

It has one little problem. The pump is not flush with the radiator, so you can't mount it inside a case. Perhaps if you would (could?) put the fittings on the side where the pump protrudes beyond the radiator... Maybe the fans will give you enough clearance... I can't say from the pictures.

I was not exclusively referring to performance as such, but also from the perspective of the end user to customise their loop. Whether that loss of customisation has an effect on it's performance when compared to equivalently priced Radiator, Pump and Res configurations, we don't know for sure. What I'm most intrigued about is how much it's likely to cost.

As for the news, I've taken on news roles while I've gone home for christmas. With university exams rearing their ugly heads in January, I don't have a lot of time for reviewing. :)

heres a few pics!!

That is about as complicated as I would want a cooling system to get.

Hat's off to the wc community with their skills with tubing etc, but tbh I'm either too lazy, clumsy, uncommited to a final pc build with changing kit and playing with stuff all the time, to want to do anything more dramatic.

I know the guyz used to it say, and I believe also, that once u done wc'ing for a while, u throw the thing together real easy - I really don't have the time or inclination. Even tho I'd like to.

Maybe you should try a corsair H50 then. I just installed one here and it made a huge difference in my CPU temps with two fans on the radiator in a push pull configuration.
