Well there is always radeon and ocz drives, I'm not 100% on those drives all I know of them is that Toshiba is the oem for ocz.

Edit: And Crucial almost forgot, they have improved greatly over the years.

had ocz before and in my opinion the ones i have had have been rubbish, i was looking at intel or evo 850 ?

yes partially budget, but also asthetics i was considering hyper x but still un decided on case so may not matter about looks

Crucial, Samsung,Intel,Kingston and the new OCZ drives are all very good. I'm sure the Corsair stuff is good if you're not on a budget and don't have a pile of broken ones already.
