I`ve been finding that while experimenting with SuperPi tweaks, if I open...E.G.. A64 Tweaker, Clockgen etc to change settings, the scores drop due to them having been opened. Implement as many changes as possible in the BIOS for "real" SuperPi runs.
This also had a knock-on effect of comparing tweaks for better times- e.g... boot into windows, run SuperPi get time X. Opening A64 Tweaker and making valid changes gave me a time of X+Y, then another lot of tweaks in A64 tweaker would more or less get me back to time X.
Other tweaks (not all the tweaks I have)
Start-> my computer-> right click-? Properties-> advanced->Performance settings-> adjust for best performance. DO THIS BEFORE THE NEXT TWEAK
start-> run-> MSCONFIG->services-> disable all-> re-enable event log, error reporting and fast user switching. This strips all the background crap, but keeps the restart fast (still to be double-checked)
while in MSCONFIG, strip (disable all) in startup
if msconfig has been cleared, I find that changing the priority doesnt make much difference, but realtime or high might still help a bit
Start-> run-> regedit-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management-> DisablePagingExecutive-> decimal 1
also while there, change LargeSystemCache to decimal 1 as well.
Still to be checked: moving page file.
