sounds like you still have speedstep activated on your mobo mate, its 2.4ghz on 9x266 multiplier and 1.6 on a 6 multiplier when speedstep is active

very nice msm2 im gonna try out my new q6600 when it gets delivered on wed/thursday, will be clocked at 3.7 so i should get better than the 15 secs that ive managed
