£300 doesn't seem too bad for 256gb tbh.

A raptor is £1 per gb and this only a smidge more...

Are there noticable real world benefits? I mean noticable for this price...

Edit: Like will Xp boot uber fast? Will games load uber fast? Are we talking a few seconds here? If so not interested

I`d think of multiplying that £300 tbh.

Think this ssd stuff needs a better interface. Click it directly onto a pcix slot or something or in a dimm slot
