Hey OC3D!
Some of you may have already seen me derping around the site already, with my thread about my upcoming Lancelot build, and comments on the rumored £700 AMD chip!
My name is Gus Collier, and I'm a 14 year-old English gentleman, Android + Java developer, PC gamer and budding PC enthusiast. I've been building PCs and repairing them for others since the age of 11, but only got the money together to build my current rig when I was 12. The rig has evolved over the (Nearly) 3 years, and almost no parts are the same as the original build, except maybe a couple of sticks of RAM and the HDD.
I 'suffer' from Asperger's syndrome, a strand of Autism that causes me many social problems, but however makes me what the NHS describes as 'superintellegent', even though I don't particularly feel like it at times :lol:
Because of this, I see the world and many problems in different ways to other people, which is probably why I can see different ways of solving problems with PCs, and other matters.
ANYWAY,
That's enough of my life story, so here's my current spec:
Intel pentium G630 Dual Core @3.1GHz (OC)
XFX HD5870 Black edition with aftermarket cooler
MSI B75MA-P45
7GB 1333MHz DDR3 RAM
Corsair 430W CX PSU
It's a pretty crappy build, but it can play Borderlands 2 on High settings at 60FPS, and BF3 ON HIGH AT 33FPS, so I'm happy
I look forwards to spending a large amount of my precious time on these forums, and getting to know the comunity!
