Sunset overdrive problem

So I tried to boot sunset overdrive over steam link last night, and it went to boot but then just took me back to the steam link library page of it. I read tried this quite a few times, checked the game files were right over steam ect, and couldn't figure out what was the issue. Anyone else experienced this? Or know how to fix it?

hmm that normally happened for me when steam wasnt updated properly.

It was my anti virus, had to completely disable it for it to even boot lol
