Suggestions on rig lighting

Hi all,

Okay so i want to buy some LED lighting for my rig.
What do you guys suggest?, I want it to be in LED strip/cable form and i want it to be blue.
I was thinking along the lines of Bitfenix alchemy LED strips but they seem quite expensive.

The Bitfenix ones are very good, even a small strip of them will light up your entire case. Make sure you get the connects though, don't really see the point in the aquas.

Depending on what you're wanting to light up and the case you're using, you may be better with white LEDs however.

well, i have a 15cm bitfenix alchemy LED strip in red and it is awesome, even at that smaller size, it lights up my whole rig and my room if i have the lights off, highly recommend

check out my rig to see (ROG Red/Black Project), the camera, doesnt pic it up completely but u get the idea, i have it at the top of my case

Thanx, yeah I was planning on going for the Bitfenix LED strips, I'l probably get like two or three 15cm strips and im sure that will light up my rig nicely, also do you know where i could buy them at a reasonable price?

Would you run them in connect or separately?

45cm of it will be very bright IMO.

You should either go for a small amount of the Bitfenix ones (20cm ish) or get something like the NZXT kit where the LEDs are spaced a lot more and so won't be overpowering.

I was going to run them separately in places i wanted to highlight.

specialtech sell them but agree you would probably only need 2 strips max of the 15cm ones.. they are extremely bright....

i think i got mine from amazon, specialtech also have them, they weren't that different in price, 3 x 15cm may be too bright, 1 is good enough to light ur rig so maybe play safe and get 2 but i suppose it depends on ur case and hardware

I like that i would have more options with this product but have you ever used it?

If you have what is the face plate like it looks kinda cheap and flimsy...
Also is the led strip flexible enough to get into the corners of my case without it bulging out ?
