stress testing

IBT is great for generating heat, and doing very quick tests to see if your system is basically stable.

Prime95 is better for long term stability.

Use Prime95 for about 12 hour to ensure stability.

Typically, IBT can generate a couple of degrees higher temperatures than Prime, so if you are just wanting to see maximum possible temperatures then IBT for about 10 runs on maximum is a good measure.

As PingPang said though...it would have been far less effort for you to just google intel burn test :p

Im a big fan of OCCT. Has Linpak as well as the traditional stress testing. Plus it monitors all your stuff like CPU temps, voltage and all that all in one nice handy package. Its the only one I use nowadays.

It should be an option in your UEFI, near the other memory settings. I don't have your board and i've never used an ASUS UEFI, so I can't really help you with that.

Oh, and can you please use the edit button in future, when you want to add something extra to your posts, instead of creating a new post? It makes threads easier to read :)
