Strange problem with Firefox

Firefox has had problems on my parents machine ever since the 1.5update.

The page "shakes" up and down very rapidly about 0.5mm.

I've tried a fresh install, deleting the FF folder and re-installing. Tried FF from v 1.5 to 1.5.0.2 with no luck. Any idea's?? :eh:

EDIT: Windows XP Home Edition SP2 fully patched. I don't want to do a full re-install as the belkin drivers are a pita

removed all entries in the registry with mozilla or firefox in them ?

guessing you already know this but just in case, if you mess it up by deleting the wrong entries you could end up with a nonworking windows installation.

Mate it might be the touchpad or eraser head mouse driver malfunctioning. The touchpad has a scrolling part usually on the right, that might be a little screwed up..

Nick: I'll try the touchpad and see

I'll try regcleaner to see if that works..

And its the web pages inside tha actual window

Yeah i've seen this on loads of laptop touchpads.

Sometimes its that the drivers for the touchpad aint installed, sometimes it just neds a clean.
