Stopping A Gfx card using 256Mb Of RAM?

A few updates, but still if i put them to lower than I had previously they can take an age. I'll try a defrag overnight and post any updates tomorrow evening.

As for now I'm out. Hopefully the defrag will sort things out.

7300GTs use NVIDIA TurboCache which does use system memory even tho they do have 256mb on the card. It's just the way they are.

I'm not sure if there is any way of disabling TurboCache at all tho.

edit:I just noticed you said it is the one without turbocache, but I thought they all used turbocache

(similar card, diff manufacturer)Club3D 7300GT (seems to use turbocache?)

Alright just bit for a quick update. Will Before my upgrade I was using a Socket A AMD Sempron 2500+ @ 1.75Ghz, 512Mb RAM, Powercolor Radeon 9250 256Mb.

And now I'm using a AMD Athlon 64 3500+ @ 2.2Ghz, 512Mb RAM, Gainward 7300GT Golden Sample.

See what I meant when I said this was a weird card? :crazy:
