Steam's Winter Sale has officially started

Hoping to catch the new Wolfenstein or Prey on sale. Yeah I know they're new and it's a long shot but I'm still hoping.
 
I lucked out, not only was Wolfenstein 50% off but Prey was too. The only 2 games I was really interested in. I usually never get lucky in these Steam sales LOL... I know what I'm doing tonight.
 
Surprised the hell out of me too. I didn't even look for them on the Thanksgiving sale figuring there was no way.
 
That feeling when 3/4ers of your wishlist is on sale, but you can't afford all of them....

What to buy, what to buy...

Both Prey and Wolfenstein II were 50% off in that sale as well. Almost made me feel sorry for the people that bought Wolfenstein at launch.

Assassins Creed Origins was on sale too. I don't even know why I bother to play games right away anymore. I rarely play anyway with all my math and computer studies. May as well wait another month or two to save money. I only buy from CDkeys and even then I may as well wait and save a couple extra bucks.
 
Considering picking up civilization 6, although it's cheaper on cdkeys. Other than that I find myself on keeping my coins in my pocket this year :)
 
Fallout vs wildlands, then go Fallout. Huge game :D I liked wildlands, but had to leave it due to studies, but haven't really bothered to go back. But I want to go back to Fallout. There is just so much else to play.
Origins is taking all my time :)
 
I'd pick wildlands. Played both and as a fallout fan I found it a money grabbing abomination (same old graphics and game play etc.). Wildlands was, on the contrary, a blast!

Damn. If the sale on it lasts until the 28th, then i may still be able to get it too.
 
Mate sent me a $25 gift card for Chrimbo. Turned into £18.14. Can't spend it. There is simply absolutely nothing there I want. AGF - totally. Mostly because it's the same crap every bloody sale and you can only buy them once unless you are daft lol.

Gaming has quietened down so much. No HL3, no L4D3, no BL3, nothing. It's so bad right now :( Even Dead Island 2 has been given to Sumo (who TBF do make a cracking game, see also Outrun Coast 2 Coast).

Edit. I was so desperate a couple of nights ago I even played Far Cry 4. Which to be fair is actually a fantastic game ! I couldn't believe how much fun there was to be had. Apart, of course, from what put me off it right off the bat. The long, boring, terribly acted unskippable cut scenes. They proper do my head in !

But shooting a leopard cage and then watching it ripping every enemy up within a few hundred meters is hilarious :D
